Urban Canvas
"Urban Canvas" was designed in collaboration with Eric Heffington with the idea of incorporating the artist, art and community all in one. As artists we wanted to find a way to make sure our piece made more of a statement than just another sculpture installed at a park. We wanted the piece to be always changing and a way for the community to have a platform for expression. With these ideas in mind we came up with "Urban Canvas". Our choice of materials was to ensure an even deeper connection with the environment as well by using rebar, wood and concrete (the basis for all urban development).
